Artist Diary. Tuesday, January 19th.

Tonight is the first public viewing of my portrait of Mr. Filagree at the prestigious Threadless hall, my only hope is that it is a success for I fear a great deal that my exit from this world will not be a good one if it is not well received.

He departed the morning of the show leaving only this note, and instructions to give them discreetly to anyone I meet.

Odd indeed, but I think he has an appetite for a large attendance. I hope that I am not becoming a pawn, but what else am I to do.

the thing i love about your art is that, just when i think i know what it is, i look again and see something else.

    incredible linework...

Thanks Craig that means a lot to me. Hope you don't mind I borrowed you're shading tactics for just a bit. You may have them back now.

This is the big one folks. I hope it's not much to ask but threadless is one of the faster moving of the contest sites, no time to dilly dally. If it's not to much to ask I could really use some twitter boosting, stumbles, digs, and face palms, I mean facebookings.

If I win it means quakerninja spring and summer and going to be off the rack awesome. If not I will have to release as money will allow. That owl shirt is first up in the cue, so get out there and spread the legs, I mean words.

Emptees is as close to a niche as I think I am ever going to find, so forgive me for getting all boner'ed over the chance at a life changing win-a-reeno

Leaving the live trace button and learning how to use a bush tool has really helped, also getting some more confidence drawing freehand.
    Thank you everyone.
