I wanted to release my first collection on summer 2014. I was my wish since 2007 to start this streetwear brand.. With the years the plan become more and more concrete. I've bought many designs (many of them here on mintees) and planed a marketing concept for my "baby". I also produced some fine shirts and made excellent business relations with producers.

I've decided to drop my first collection with a series of three image videos. The first video had a football background (i've anticipated that the hype because of the world cup in Brazil will be very tremendous here in Europe, and so it was...) So i invest a lot of money and shoot a freestyle football (with well known freestyle football artist Iya Traore) video in Paris. My plan was very foresighted, Even Shakira herself hire later the same artist for her video world cup song music clip... Well, if the videomaker i've hired would made his job i'm sure i would have a (little) success with my marketing idea... but this guy (after getting his money) get ill and made a therapy. He didn't reply my mails for months.. and this foils my plans very bad.. i've sold some shirts but were very frustrated because my plans didn't worked out. So i decided to give up the biz.

1,5 (!!) years later the guy finished his work and send me the image video.. I've uploaded it on youtube just for my own satisfaction

How do you guys like my image video ? Would be very glad if you could leave me a comment on youtube or facebook.. It was a lot of work and i brought a lot of my heart in this..

Thanks a lot

Well... In my opinion the video is too long... at least you should have made the guy wear different t-shirts if your plan was to showcase your brand.

^ Same here. I thought the video was nicely done, but too long and not so much emphasis was put on the designs themselves. It would have been better if the dude wore different tshirts. At one point the footballer even took his shirt off :). I wouldn't have guessed this was a video presentation of a brand just by watching the video itself. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with the above, it is very long and it definitely provides no indication of what it's promotion or what the message is.

My suggestions: cut it down to 45 seconds, color correct it there are some inconsistencies and flat color, make the pacing quicker and add your logo and website at the end.

The intro shots are unnecessary and the video should start as he is entering the frame and quickly cut to him juggling, the rest is just not needed and the pace is too slow.

^^^^ I agree. Definitely cut this bad boy down to less than a min and add more t-shirts design. The idea is pretty cool though.

The video was well shot, but like the others said it is too long. Watching this video it seemed like it was a just video of him showing off his skills and had nothing to do with any brand whatsoever. Since this was a video to promote your brand it was a failure. He only wore one shirt and when he took off the shirt I didn't think it was good, but hoping he would wear a different one. You should've had your brand name at the end or even in the beginning and end of the video. The phrase at the end would have been fine if there was your logo or brand name. At least now you know for your future endeavors, since you gave up on this brand. Running brand is no easy feat, but maybe you want to use this video for a potential relaunch. Other than it having felt like it had nothing to do with your brand it was entertaining to watch this guy do his tricks.

always continue /// never give up
unless what you do is some sort of evil thing
    then maybe give up
    until then
    continue
