Hey everybody.

I was lucky enough to be asked to be on the adventures in design podcast (http://www.adventuresindesignmarket.com/circleoftrust/2015/) today and in the first hour we talk about some miles to go history and some funny tidbits. In the second hour that you can listen to if you are a paid subscriber, I break down wholesale a ton. If you aren't a subscriber, I think you can pay 99c to download it.

If you own a clothing company, I 100% promise you the amount of detail we go into will be worth every penny. We talk about how I went from 3 stores to over 100 in a year, working with reps, big box retail, you name it.

Give it a listen and please feel free to ask any follow up questions here.

If you want to listen to the free first hour, search adventures in design on iTunes podcast app and, really, I would hope most of the people on here listen to this show regularly. It's 5 days a week of talking to big names artists (Jim Phillips last weds) and great info for people like us.

thanks! figures after telling people all day they could buy the extra content if they wanted, i realized he stopped that for individual episodes a few weeks ago. whoops. glad you dug it

That was a good listen. Thanks for all the insight, Greg!

Man, this couldn't come at a better time for me. Nice work Greg! I've always been curious how you handle your wholesale stuff, as you seem to be the master at it. Is there not anyway to buy that single episode? I'd be happy to pay a few bucks for it.

unfortunately, not anymore. he used to allow people to by single episodes, but if 40 people bought an episode, its the same revenue as 4 people becoming subscribers. i listen to it pretty much every day while i work, so its worth it in my book mostly because thats when the juicy bits of knowledge come out.

if it helps at all, we talk about working with reps and rates of that, discuss what urban actually offers in payment, he talks about other big box rates and i talk about the strategy for handling wholesale better when you have a ton of stuff available, terms, etc. also talk in depth about how i work with artists.

Cool. I'll probably just signup for the Circle of Trust. I used to listen to AID years ago but fell off because Posters aren't really my thing. The circle of trust episodes sound a little more up my alley though, I'll give them a shot.

Thanks for putting your info out there. It's a big help for us smaller guys.

    Hey Brad,

The show has changed lot since then and is more inclusive to people who design happiness into their lives.
