hey guys.

i just started over at acme prints (http://www.acmeprints.com) helping with sales and overseeing projects.

If you are looking for a new printer any have questions, let me know.

They do discharge and water based prints and i'm your guy to ask if you have specific questions about that. I've printed all of the miles to go stuff here for the past 7 yrs and know what colors discharge well and on what fabrics inside and out. a lot of colors don't work well and i've pretty much done every test you can imagine.

no screen fees or set up charges either which helps for lower run jobs. any jobs i take in get approved by me before going to print too.

anyway, hit me up on here or at greg@acmeprints.com

dig.

Why don't they have any pictures of their work, garments, or anything really, or am I just missing them? I'm not really looking to print at this moment, but that would be a major deterrent if there were no samples or any work to look at and gauge the quality of the work the shop puts out.

hmmm. thats a really solid point. i will bring it up to them. if you are curious, you can check out my site (http://store.milestogoclothing.com) for some examples. i know they recently re-did their site and maybe they haven't gotten around t new photos yet.

As somone who owns probably close to a dozen Miles To Go shirts, I can certainly vouch for their print quality. I've been wearing some of my MTG shirts regularly for about 3 years and even the first shirt I bought still looks great.

thanks tom. i just started here helping out with some stuff. and as for the images for the site, i will be taking a bunch this week and getting them ready for them to put up. it was on their list to get done with the new site but the shop has been busy, so i'm gonna help get that taken care of.

Got a small run of tees printed up with Acme last year, can't recommend them enough. Great print quality as Tom mentioned, and their representatives get back to you quickly as well. Not to mention the low minimums are a huge plus.

I will also gladly recommend ACME. I grew up in Tucson, Arizona, every band I ever played in did our merch through ACME. Whether it was discharge, foil or anything else we ever had done, I was always blown away, long before I knew anything about design or printing. The quality has always been great, they have always met their deadline (actually usually got it sooner) and their customer service is amazing.

I work in house for a concert promoter/venue now in Phoenix and we still do stuff with ACME all the time. They have always been nothing but great. Totally recommend them.

    hey david.
discharge works great on AA on most 100% cotton tees. some colors like royal just flat out don't discharge. I'm printing on saturday with some white water based discharge and water based black, so i will toss in a random tee to mail you and email you tomorrow to get an address. what color tee are you thinking about printing on? i just tested some water based white discharge even on tri-cran(worked great), tri-indigo(better than expected with barely a yellow hue) and a turquoise 2001. maybe i can just grab that one. it was a test print because a customer wanted turquoise and i knew blues normally stink.
