    Spot on!
  • Setup85

I like what you and lead & light have going on with the blogs. Thinking about changing mine up a bit. Seems stale at the moment.
  • Dr_Worm

Pretty dope! I haven't used tumblr in a while
  • timofeie

Been a follower for a while, really cool stuff there.
  • Acid

Really good stuff. It got me very excited to get on with my uni work, then I realised I'm doing a project branding caviar to rich old people...

    ... damn.
  • mattcorrado

    awesome, thanks for sharing. followed.

EDIT: you should credit the artists when possible. unless i missed it. i like to see who did the work and follow them as well when possible. just a thought.
  • artbywesley

Thanks everyone, I thought the community of mintees would enjoy this.. everyone seems to have a similar aesthetic as myself.

Most definitely.. up until this point I really only created the site/tumblr for my own personal reference. Since I am somewhat promoting it a bit more, I will be crediting from here on out.

What I usually do to find the artist when I look back is if you click through the image it will usually take you to the images original location (either the artist site or a site like mintees or dribbble)
  • Cameron Latham

Awesome stuff. Makes me want to get a Tumblr again.
  • PitchGrim

I'll pass this on to all the artists I work with here at NHS. Sick collection and definitely lives up to the name.

This has been posted everywhere lately, but he completely trashes the entire piece with that abysmal tail on the g. I have no idea why he did that.

Agreed, I like how he finished it off but was thinking "...the fuck?" with the swirly upwards part.

Definitely. The left to right was alright I guess, but as soon as he started going back up and did the spiral, killed it off completely.
  • Jason Carne

By the way, this site is real nice. Thanks for tossing a few of my pieces in there!

Lost all my bookmarks recently, this should get it going again
  • A.Merkison

I think what makes it better than some inspiration blogs(other than crediting the artists with links) is that it isn't stuck in 1 style. Too many of these blogs only show 1 style or type of artwork, and it drives me mad. There are only so many flavor of the month design elements I can stand to look at rearranged over and over. Kudos for decent enough cross-section of current trends and different styles of artwork.

I'm still impressed with the line. I think he may have done what we all do. "OH SHIT, WHERE AM I GOING WITH THIS LINE... EEEAHHHYEAAHHHHHHH LIKE That!"

  • Ella Mobbs

I like how he's combing stuff, but that old man with the pipe on the first page references Quyen Dinh (Parlour Tattoo Prints) quite heavily.
