    Megan Fox as April O'Neil
    Pete Ploszek as Leonardo
    Noel Fisher as Michelangelo
    Jeremy Howard as Donatello
    Alan Ritchson as Raphae
    Danny Woodburn as Splinter
Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, April's cameraman and rival news reporter.
William Fichtner and Abby Elliot are cast in unspecified roles.

They kinda mixed and matched the storylines from what I've been reading. They went back to original April O'Neil look(dark hair, but not an afro) instead of the redheaded O'Neil. I'll still keep track of filming and stuff before I decide if I actually want to see it or not.

  • Who is Ryan C.

Will Arnett is cast perfect, but i think Fox as April is meh and the foot soldiers look stupid.

Excited to see the trailer once it comes out to see how everything comes together.

Has Fox ever been good in anything?

Fuck all of this. I'll piss on this movie.

Im kinda looking forward to it. If Bay is producing, at the end of the day you're going to get a high octane, explosion filled, action packed, action film. Surely thats what a Turtles film should be? The point of this film for me, is like Transformers. I didn't care about the story. I didn't care about the cast, I didn't care about the script. I went to see a part of my childhood explode on screen. And it did.
Same with this. Lets be honest, the Turtles are not some serious, in depth, clever piece of media culture. I think we can safely say (as much as I love them), the original comics are forgotten about in todays culture of TMNT. And even then, the comic was written as a joke, to see if they could produce and release the most stupid title on the market.
Lets look at the original cartoon. Same story every week, terrible voice acting, poor action. But it was fun. Thats exactly what this will be. Even the orignal film (including part 2 if you wish), was fun, but, it was terrible.
So people around the web need to generally relax. Were not getting some oscar winning, 4 hour long piece of art, were getting, ninja turtles, hanging out with a hot April, and kicking arse. So lets just do what we did when we were 8, and enjoy it for what it is.

I dont understand how you can say something in pre production, no effects or cg to make the costume, can be gross?
Thats like an artist on here, quickly jotting his sketch down, and saying its shit. It still needs hours of work.

I'm with you on Bay. For as much crap as he gets, he still makes great popcorn films. They might have the most shallow scripts known to man, but they're still fun more often than not. I can't think of a Bay film I didn't find fun(produced or directed). Bay to me is a LOT like Zack Snyder(though maybe that will change with Man of Steel?). They both catch crap for terrible storylines, but they bring the boom and fun to any film they're on. SuckerPunch has been shit on for being so ridiculously shallow, but be honest...was it not the best music video you've ever seen?

And I'm a Turtles fan. The first 2 live action films were 2 of my favorite movies when I was really little(to go along with Masters of the Universe and Pee-Wee's Big Adventure), so I'm still interested in this project.

My whole issue with this is not just with this movie but the re-issue of everything from the past. I want movie makers to create new awesome things to be excited about. Not regurgitating stuff that should honestly be left where it was found. It will probably be explosive and I'm sure a whole new generation of kids will love it and that's cool. I'm just sick of remakes.

The whole thing with Bay is that its predetermined that its going to have a shit load of eye candy, the occasional joke and a given underlined love story. I would have loved a darker direction with the movie, but that being said I would definitely watch it on the opening day and come out with a given smile. Fuckit I love TMNT waaaay to much not to like it....catch 22 i guess?

YEP. I loath Michael Bay. Dude just takes popular franchises, rips the soul out of them, throws in a bunch of shitty actors, way too much CGI and explosions and milks it for all it's worth. I'm no movie snob, I love a good mindless action movie. But I wish Hollywood would let someone who is a fan of these franchises create the new material. (Marvel/Disney are doing a good job of this) Obviously any new movie based on 20-30 year old characters/franchises is going to be very different from the source. But there's a massive difference between creating something new while paying homage to the original and just taking the brand name and slapping it on a steaming pile of garbage.

I probably won't bother seeing this unless it looks amazing. I'd rather not support this kind of crap in any way, shape or form. I would have left the theater during Transformers 1 if I hadn't of been with a bunch of people, haha. Didn't bother seeing either of the Clash of the Titans re-hashes by guy who's directing TMNT either. LOVE the original too much to even waste my time on that CGI-Nu-Metal-MTV-fast-cut-300-wannabe-polished-turd.

How I wish Guillermo Del Toro would have been able to make a new TMNT movie. HellBoy is the perfect example of what a new TMNT movie could be. Traditional creature effects combined with great CGI, perfect casting and very true to the source material.

Couldn't agree more with what Ross said.

Megan Fox? NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO NO! Terrible casting.
  • PitchGrim

Ross took the words right out of my mouth. Del Toro is my favorite director cause he works on projects he's personally a fan/passionate about and regardless of it's success, they're typically more pure than anything out there. Not to mention his vision and style would have suited the tmnt universe perfectly especially with his experience with live action. On another note, Hellboy 3 is supposedly rumored so fingers crossed for the epic conclusion they're promising.
  • Lion Caster

I think people are forgetting that Michael Bay is not directing this, it's Jonathan Liebesman, who is actually not all that bad of a director. ( I never saw WRATH, haha ) I'll give it a shot.
