Yes, all shirts printed on American Apparel except for the crew neck.
  • miles to go

looks good and props on the cohesion between the past release and this one. still all has the same vibe which is a great thing.
  • MINE

Nice stuff, I'm wondering what brand crewneck are you using and the how heavy are they?
  • cmeyers

branding is a bit all over the place, but the line is cohesive, so that's good. i just think you could focus your branding more in your next line(s). i'm assuming the type at the top and the rocket are your logos?

I'm using the Alternative Apparel Champ crew neck. They're lightweight compared to most in my opinion. Also, probably the softest I know of.

Yes, the type at the top and rocket are my logos. Could you expand on how you feel I could focus more on branding. For example, do you mean using the logos in the designs more? Thanks and I hope this doesn't come off in any other way than wanting feedback to possibly improve.

Ordered my Grenade tee. Wish I wasn't a starving student so I could grab a few others, haha.

no worries man, and i hope i wasn't coming off as saying this stuff is bad, just a thought for the future. yeah, i think that the logos could be used more. for example, not a single shirt used your official typeface or mark. in designs like the shield with the eagle, the rocket could have been used in place of the bolts. on the radio tower, the official typeface could have been used instead. little things like that you know? not that those designs are bad or anything, but those are areas where you could push your branding and get that logo into people's heads.

Looks great Brandon. The crew neck came out awesome. Skiff's piece rules also.

Appreciate the feedback. And I totally hear where you are coming from. The rocket logo was in the Shield design initially, but where we had it, it felt forced. With the War design it is actually kind of hidden in there. I definitely get what you're saying though. The only place the logo is really visible is the sleeve of the crew neck and that's still not going to be seen by many.

yeah, exactly. little touches here and there will help push your brand to the point where people will recognize the rocket as fictionfield. other than that, i do like the designs.

    I like the new releases.

    Not sure what cmeyers means...
I feel like most brands are based on its imagery, not just logo tees (which I personally thin is how it should be)
I think the subtly with where you have the rocket is perfect.
Tags are where you put the logo so people say "Wow, awesome design, let me see who did this". Instead of, oh, a t-shirt with someones logo on it.

    Love the battle shirt

i didn't mean just printing logo tees. i meant just using the branding elements carefully and subtly throughout the line. yeah the designs are good, but there are a lot of opportunities in those designs where the logo could have been used without compromising the shirt's look.

i happen to lean towards how zeb feels as well, but anyone could assume that based on my own line. you don't always have to hide a logo or incorporate it into every design. hell, i only have it on my logo tee. it really comes down to who he is marketing towards and how he wants his brand seen. both are obviously fine, but i don't think its needed to have the logo or name/same typeface in all designs or even at all in some cases.

    Ya, Gotchya.
I mean branding is always good throughout the line.
Personally I don't like when the actual design has a logo in it...but everybody likes different stuff.
(I do like the subtly of the rocket in the one design here though)

    "War" is really cool.

the way i saw it, was that every shirt had some sort of icon and some sort of typography that said "fictionfield". none of them incorporated the official icon or typeface, and there were definitely places where it would seem obvious to incorporate one and/or both, like the examples i gave, without compromising the originality of each design. he has done it in a couple spots, for instance, the little rocket on the astronaut. that's the stuff i'm talking about. all i meant was that there was a sort of missed opportunity to push the branding.
