I did my degree in Biochemistry and now run my own brand of Ladies T-shirts - the 2 are very much not related!
The most important thing is do something you love , 3-4 years at uni is a long time.

Is it graphics related find out which uni's do it well and go visit.

I loved critique in college it helped allot

I did a foundation degree in art and design at UCA Maidstone, and I really advise doing a foundation before going on to a full course, lots of them like you to have one for getting in. I'm going to UWE Bristol for Illustration in less than a month, I'm stoked the facilities look so much sicker than my foundations ones.

I was planning to do something for graphic art but I ended up doing my Cert IV in marketing. Im still completing it, its going great!

I majored in Computer Science with a programming focus. But as a minor I went digital art production. To be realistic, I recommend folks go after a degree that can make some real money and be applied throughout work sectors. Web technologies are in full demand right now no matter the industry. But my passion is art so I try to keep my foot in that door as well. But truthfully you hear about starving artists more than starving programmers.

Currently doing Graphic Design at Huddersfield uni and its pretty damn good. Nice uni and town as well as being super close to Leeds!
