This might be a dumb question, but I'm trying to resize a photo thats at a lower resolution and i wanted to resize it larger for a print but not lose to much quality. I was wondering if there was a way to do it other than photoshop? or how I can do it in photoshop and make it look good.

The only way is to reshoot the photo at a higher res. You could just use the image sizing in PS but that would make it lose quality. PS is raster so it uses pixles, AI is vector so that would be your best bet for resizing

You CAN NOT enlarge it without reducing quality. That is simply impossible. But you can use a plug-in like Genuine Fractals, which works great to enlarge it with minimal quality reduction.

And if you rip somebody's design we will slay you.

actually it's not impossible, there's a program coming to market sooner or later that can perform upsizing miracles. There was an article about it in WIRED a year or 2 ago.

upsize in increments of 110% with the dropdown in image size selected that says upsize image or something, it's not the default.

Print it out then scan it at a large DPI like 1200 or more.

Print it out then put it in a bucket with hot water
