I really want to see this.

Slightly Off Topics, but Easy A was amazing
  • DOOOM

Haven't seen it yet.. but i'm keen!
  • Lmerrill

Need to see this. I've heard some really good things...
  • Bob Kawa

I'm really unsure about this, it seems interesting enough though.
  • 8-bit ZOMBIE

David Fincher is an amazing director, but I really have no desire to see this. And I'll bet it's really good but I just can't bring myself to go see a movie about Facebook. (I know it's about more than just that, but still...)

Yeah, I can't take this movie seriously. David Finchers the man though, he should have just made The Game 2
  • 8-bit ZOMBIE

Plus Facebook dude is rich enough. I don't especially like the idea that by buying a ticket I am helping him pay for his next mansion/yacht/robot maid/whatever. Hahaha. ;)

Sorry man, but you do not know what you are talking about. He does not get any of the money that you pay for your ticket. He gets nothing from this movie, he did not even want it created. He also, contrary to what you would believe, does not spend much money, lives in a smallish house in California, he never really cared about the money.

Yeah, my post was slightly tongue-in-cheek hence the "Hahaha. ;)" at he end.

Thanks for letting me know that I have no idea what I’m talking about though.

And it's definitely cool that he is still down to earth after all his success.

So does this movie celebrate Mark Zuckerberg? or does it poke fun at him for the accusations of stealing the idea? What's the general mood of the movie?
  • Lmerrill

If he was going to do it anonymously he would have, Oprah wouldn't have found out. I hate when celebrities do shit like that.

Seriously go see this movie, especially if you work in the web industry like me, theres tons of funny parts others wont catch.

He's on the Forbes billionaire list, worth $4 billion I believe?

Wasnt saying hes not rich, was saying people assume hes a stuck up guy because of it.

If movies and T.V. have taught me anything it's that all rich people are jerks.

I think the role of El Presidente would have to be played by Ol' Seth MacFarlane

    Saw this last night.
It was pretty good, but I am baffled as to why this is being compared to Citizen Kane and The Godfather (on review sites) in terms of being a classic or one of the greatest movies of all time. Not even close, in my opinion.

If it doesn't have explosions, car chases, an arm wrestling scene or the phrase "GET DOWWWWWNNNNN!!!!" - it's for sissies. Duh. ;)

Some of the stars of the film actually came to Ann Arbor to do a special screening...the movie turned out to be pretty good.

I actually had the privilege of moderating a Q & A session with them.

Aaron Sorkin was by far the coolest out of the bunch.
