Hey everyone, today I opened the doors to my company Boston Cream. The style doesn't really fit the norm here at Emptees, but I have gained a lot of contacts and made quality friends from here and just wanted to thank all those that made it possible.

Just wanted to get a quick critique and open it up to any comments any of you may have about the website or products.

Why did you use the ugly logo on printed materials? Please delete it now and promise me you will never use it again.

Also I thought this was about pie and I love pie, so forgive me for being disappointed.

The Johnny pie cakes one isn't bad, but food based clothing is kind of a full niche. You need to really bring the goods if you are going to make your dough rise feel me.

The website is gorgeous, and i love the clothing line, best of luck :)

Like the website, but when I click the 24hours open sign, I get linked to http://www.boston-cream.com/shop which doesn't work. You might wanna fix that.

    really? i mean.

some designs are executed well, but the whole thing seems like something i've seen before done better.

This thing links to boston-cream.com/shop instead of shop.boston-cream.com:

Also, I really like this logo more than the one you are currently using:

Where in Boston are you from? Our office is in Dorchester! RSC is from the area, too!

The Zakim on Mint and the White belt are my faves. I like the text logo a lot

I'm going to be super critical, but I honestly find this kind of stuff corny. City pride is great and all, but creating a whole brand based around that concept is pushing it IMO. I especially find your branding weak. I don't mind the type logo as much, but the circle logo is incredibly ugly. The type on your website is a bit of a mess too. And having a name like Boston Cream, people are immediately going to pit you against Johnny Cupcakes, the already hugely popular and familiar Bostonian clothing brand. I like how you've thought everything through, but my thoughts are that it needs a step in a different, more interesting direction.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I enjoy hearing the positives and the negative things, gives me something to build on.

I'm right on Huntington right now, and Regan printed my business cards and hangs tags!

With future lines I am going to be bringing in more sports related products, and if there is anything Bostonians love, its their sports. But I can defiantly see where your coming from. Like I mentioned before, it doesn't really fit in with most Emptees brands, but I still love hearing any feedback.
